Introduction

This document serves as a set of guidelines for creating posts on @uwsmileclub.

These are not strict rules - think of them as helpful recommendations to maintain consistency and quality across our posts. Feel free to adapt them as needed to fit the context of your work!

Frame Dimensions

To ensure text is not cropped out in thumbnails and to maintain a consistent text structure across posts, follow these guidelines:

• Instagram posts can be square, landscape, or vertical. All images will be cropped to a square in the feed (purple shaded area).
• Square posts are 1080px by 1080px at a 1:1 aspect ratio.
• Vertical images are 1080px by 1350px with a 4:5 aspect ratio.

• The upper and lower areas of vertical posts can be used to hide additional information, such as watermarks, attributes, or short subtitles, which will not appear in the cropped square thumbnail.

Grid

• To maintain focus and visual balance, it’s recommended to leave at least 100px of padding around the text within the post.
